CD Reviews

Great, almost perfect but there is no Tommy

(4 out of 5 stars)

"New Tattoo is a very good album, I really like it even though Tommy is not in it and that is the strange part, Motley Crüe is so great that even though they released two albums without 2 original members (Motley Crüe without Vince & New Tattoo without Tommy) those albums are excellent albums

On this one Motley decide to bring up Randy Castillo an excellent drummer who does not have a problem filling Tommy's shoes; the album is pure Motley, excellent songs, well written, fun and as always very powerful.

The best songs are New Tattoo, Hollywood ending, 1st Band on the moon, for me this three songs make the album worthwhile, but also Hell on high heels is an amazing song; as always Motley delivers an excellent album maybe as good as Girls but falls just short from Feelgood, Shout and Generation Swine

What a shame Randy passed away just before Motley came to Mexico to play this album, I was really expecting to see him playing it live... that concert was played by Samantha Malone, not a bad drummer but she is not for Motley... RIP Randy Castillo, he really deserves to be in Motley
