Motorhead endured glam metal without losing a stride, so why should Lemmy be intimidated by the alternative music revolution? On Overnight Sensation, Motorhead piledrives along as if their last album was 1986's Orgasmatron. This is snarling, unrepentant metal with a fistful of umlauts. Some of the songs groove a little more than the band's heaviest stuff, but there's certainly nothing here that's gonna make Lemmy wince a decade from now. --Jon Wiederhorn
