Two CD 27 track collection featuring Ian Hunter and the rest of the Motts recorded live at the peak of their career (plus three rare demos). Mott The Hoople's nasty fusion of heavy rock, glam and Dylan-esque sneering hipster cynicism provided the groundwork for many British Punk bands, most notably The Clash. They subverted Rock 'N' Roll conventions with a tough, muscular sound that kept the group firmly in hard rock territory, even when flirting with feminine imagery and Glammy make-up.
