Synopsis

Product Description
"2006: Mozart goes Heavy Metal *** Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was born on January 27, 1756. In 2006 we celebrate the 250th anniversary of his birthday. That was the reason for this music production ""Mozart 2006"" and my thought, how would Mozart sound these days if he would be alive in 2006. I am sure, within short time he would be a pop-superstar, but he would arrange his compositions in a different way. Mozart's works sound very good in a heavy metal-arrangement - a proof of his ingeniousness. I want to show this with my recordings 1 to 5. And he would also interpret works from other already dead musicians. Classic goes Heavy Metal sounds great, check out Yourself! The last song goes with a fine tradition, where the New Year's concert in Vienna is closed with Johann Strauss' rousing Radetzky March. ********************** 2006: Mozart goes Heavy Metal *** Wolfang Amadeus Mozart wurde am 27.Jänner 1756 geboren. Im Jahre 2006 jährt sich der Geburtstag zum 250. Mal.!

"Is it possible to transfer the baroque sound to 21st century? I thought, no. But it is. And it sounds great. Listen to that kind of guitar. My favourite is the magic flute overture. Outstanding album!"
