Mozart,... Unfortunately no...

"This CD of spurious works contains some wonderful moments. The first movement of KV C 23.01 is uplifting and joyous with entertaining passages that will please anyone who appreciates Mozart's music. Unfortunately, in my humble opinion, there is no Mozart here. The music, often within the first few phrases gives away the fact that they could not have been composed by Mozart. I do however still endorse the purchase of this fine CD. The fact that a Forte Piano is used adds a "period" flavor to the works, and the actual presentation by the performers is quite well done. I was hoping for "new" Mozart music that I had not heard before, but instead I've been pleasantly surprised by a close imitation."
Obscure Sonata Attributed to Mozart Found!

"It was very difficult to find a recording of the sonata I'm preparing with my pianist because it is only "attributed to" Mozart. When I finally found this CD, I was really happy - but also somewhat skeptical of what the quality would be like. It's been a wonderful CD with crisp, clear sound and excellent level of musicianship for both the pianist and violinist. It arrived at my door in less than a week."
