Konstantin Lifschitz is a young artist who has an international career that is steadily growing and who also has somewhat of a "cult" following among a growing number of piano enthusiasts. These are the very first concerto recordings by Konstantin Lifschitz, and he plays his own cadenzas in Concerto No. 21. The Concerto No. 27 is the composer's last work for piano and orchestra. It is a beautiful work, mysterious and bathed in a soft, autumnal light. These are live recordings of two of Mozart's finest piano concertos with the distinguished American festival orchestra, the Monadnock Festival Orchestra conducted by James Bolle.
