"Mozart: Don Giovanni is a recording under the direction of Arnold Östman leading the Drottningholm Court Theatre and Chorus whom play Don Giovanni on authentic instruments. Mozart is genius of such stature that one can only compare him with the likes (in my humble opinion only) of J.S. Bach, Wagner and Beethoven. Don Giovanni is an intense and emotion laden opera and showcases the darker side of Mozart's persona." Don Giovanni! a cenar teco m'invitasti" has become an immortal line of the opera and the duet that follows is one major ones in Opera history. 5/5."
