"When I first bought this CD many years ago, I had never heard of the label and to this day, I have never seen another CD on this label. Nonetheless, this performance of the Mozart 13th Piano Concerto, is one of greatest performances I have ever heard. It is a live performance from California and is it ever live. The notes literally jump at you. The pickup orchestra plays like it is their last performance. Conductor George Cleve is a Mozart specialist and it definitely shows here. Pianist Jeremy Menuhin is the son of Yehudi, the legendary violinist. Yehudi was famous for the intensity of his performances. Jeremy picked up his father's style.



There is also a performance of the Mozart Lucia Silla Overture. It is in the same form as many of his early three movement symphonies which I personally adore. Again, the performance is superb. While the marketplace price is a tad high, it is well worth it."
