AllegroThe Oslo Philharmonic Wind Soloists are the performers.With only a little info about this CD, what made me buy this is that it's a Naxos CD and it contains the works for wind ensemble by Mozart. I thought it would be another one of the good ones. After listening to it, I knew I made a good purchase. The playing is very fine! The sound from the instruments are clear. I would recommend this especially to those who like the "Gran Partita.""

"This is a very fine CD. The wind players have a slightly tart, but full bodied sound, and their ensemble is terrific. They are captured in excellent sound engineering. The shorter works are beautifully constructed and absolutely delightful. As for the masterpiece, K. 388, it is performed with slightly fast tempos and no sense of solemnity whatsoever. Even though a slower performance might have more gravitas, this is a refreshing take on the work. Even if you have other recordings of Mozart's wind music, this CD is very much worth having for its virtuosity and esprit. It's a tribute to what a fine orchestra the Oslo Philharmonic has become."
