"I can't believe anyone who likes the music of Bill Evans wouldn't like these interpretations. One of these reviews said the recording was somber? Evans music had a introspective searching quality about it and that comes out beautifully here. The playing of Eddie Gomez and Jim Hall fit perfectly in with the quartet as well. It's all very well recorded and has depth and a very natural sound on a good system. This is a disc I will play many times."
