"I find this disk a joy in every way. The audio engineers did a marvelous job in recording, the performances are wonderful; a genuine pleasure to hear. I even think the cover art is cool. I own probably a dozen recordings of the Tallis fantasia and the Lark Ascending - this disk has wonderful renderings of both. I'd recommend it to anyone."

"I can't believe how could that reviewer give this CD 1 star! And he must've accidentally submited it 3 times instead of once. Ignore that reviewer!I compared this to the Duetsche Grammophon CD by the Orpheus Chamber Orchestra with almost every work performed by the London Chamber Orchestra. Both have fine performances. The Orpheus sorta sounded like it was recorded in a small room. The other had a more spacious room and the performance is a little better. There's a 2 CD set of these pieces AND more by the same orchestra. Although what's left out of that one is the Introduction and Allegro for Strings, Op. 47. Perhaps you'll get the 2 CD set OR this single CD if you want the Op. 47 piece."
