Mutamassik - stronghold, tenacity in Arabic - first blazed New York lofts in 1996 with her unique DJ blend of Afro-oriental roots, hardstep syncopation, and East Coast hip hop head-nod. She has since toured the world several times over, and made her name as a producer inna like hybrid mode, with remix work for Arto Lindsay, and singles for Dr. Israel's TruMystik, DJ /rupture's Soot Records, and BK's own Sound-Ink Records. Sound-Ink is proud to present her long awaited debut full length album, collecting all her best work, including much previously unreleased heat, all combusting with her signature border defying, avant dance energy.
