Nice collection of remixes

"With "Free" Mýa has released one of the best tracks of her album "Fear Of Flying". The single contains an enormous number of six remixes.Jimmy Jam Terry Lewis Video Edit (4:08) - It's the version you all know from the video. The song is a very catchy one and Mýa shines with her unique voice. It's the kind of song you can listen to everywhere and anytime. (5/5)Ricco Version (4:11) - The Ricco Version sounds quite similar to the original edit. The only difference are slightly changed beats. Still it sounds great. (4,5/5)Milk & Sugar Radio Mix (3:23) - This version adds a little bit of Latin flavor to "Free" and turns it into a uptempo dance song, sounding somewhat like Jennifer Lopez (4/5)Howard & Cross Version (3:14) - Russel Howard and Ian Cross put the emphasis on the beats and create an Aaliyah-like atmosphere. Perhaps this is the best of the remixes. (5/5)Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis Version (5:21) - An extended version of the Video edit. It can be found on the "Bait" soundtrack. (4/5)Milk & Sugar Club Mix (7:38) - A fast-paced mix with heavy beats. Still it keeps the Latin influences of the Milk & Sugar Radio Mix. (4/5)I'd like to give this CD five stars, because of the great song itself and the large number of remixes, but track 1, 2 and 5 just sound too similar. Other than that it gets four and a half stars."
If she really is "Free" I'd Take her... :)

"This song was by far Mya's best song released from her bazillion selling album "Fear of Flying." It wasn't as popular as "Case of the Ex" but I thought "Free" is better. I really like Mya's mix of Pop and Disco-ish background music. It really sounds different in today's Pop world. I don't think Mya would really be qualified as an R&B Artist...and she's not yet Pop. She has a good mix and gives off a good vibe. The video is Hot as well...which includes awsome roller skating choreography! Way to go Mya and I can't wait 4 ur next album!"
