"A group like Myracle Brah comes out every 5-10 years, and when they do grab everything you can get your hands on. THIS is the kind of music that should be played on Top 40, but they didn't even glance at it! WAKE UP TOP 40! How a group like MB can be ignored is beyond my understanding.
Most Beatles, Badfinger even Big Star and Raspberries fans will love this CD, Andy Bopp has a Lennon, Pete Ham and Harrison sound to his voice, with Beatles sounding guitars, to my ears that is.
You may have also heard Andy Bopps other group "Love Nut" Their second CD was in some ways almost as good as this one here, maybe even better in some areas. Actually Love Nut was the first band he had, then MBrah became his side project, well, it seems the side project has become the main group and Love Nut is no longer (not sure) recording.
As for "Life On Planet Eartsnop"? You'll like it so much you'll probably never loan it out. Because those songs will be playing in your head, at work, when your shopping, driving, whatever. Packed with 20 songs! that's like
a double album.
The highlights of this CD, "Action Reaction",(Sounds to me like the Who meets G.Harrison) "Someday Soon"(sounds like Badfinger and Lennon or Harrison penned it) "Good Day to The Night" (Sounds like Big Star meets Cheap Trick) (Of course not everybody will hear the similarities)
for example "Shes Everything" sounds like The Raspberries, others will probably just say, it sounds like the Beatles, which it does, different ears hear different influences. I think "Loli La Letta" sounds Beatles-que all the way, with Harrison style guitar playing, which happens to be on the CD cover, and of course Andy adds his own great style to this tasty CD.
The song "Love Is" has got to be heard to believe, in fact this whole CD has to be heard to believe.
The Matt Masson figures brought back memories.
Buy this CD and hear those Rickenbackers Chime, it's well worth the money.

"If you ever loved Big Star, The Zombies or the Beatles, or if you currently dig on Guided by Voices, miss the Posies or can't wait for the next one by Fountains of Wayne, turn your useless radio off and pick up this release, along with "Plate Spinner". Andy Bopp is a genius. And, believe you me, he knows exactly how we feel, what we want and what we've been missing. I have seen the future of power pop, and it's name is Andy Bopp."

"My heart went boom when I crossed the room after putting on this CD. With all the "power-poppers" out there, Andy Bopp has raised the bar with this release. Seems to have resurrected the lads from Liverpool (Rubber Soul / Revolver period) with spot on vocals of Lennon and pop-sensibility of McCartney, with a dash of early Harrison-type guitar work for good measure. Yet at the same time, the CD comes across as original and fresh. I have a CD collection of over 2000 - this one has moved into my personal top 10 and will there for some time to come. The follow-up to this CD (Plate Spinner) is good, but doesn't measure up to this. Few CD's do."

"Once in a decade, an album comes along that captures every thing that is right about rock n' roll. Life on Planet Eartsnop is that album and the Andy Bopp project, Myracle Brah, is the band to deliver it. From the first note to the last ring of the amplifier, LOPE takes you on a musical journey firmly rooted in the glory days of the Beatles. A must have for any power-pop fan and definitely the top album release of the 90s."

"Poor Alex Chilton. So many offspring, so little money. This is a great, great record, don't get me wrong. I went f'ing nuts when I first heard it, I always wanted a new Big Star record for Christmas. Thank you Andy Bopp, you were up to a task none should have dared. You are my hero."
