"This recording reatures many of the "modern" classical sacred choral works(excluding the {Palestrina and Victoria works). From the heavenly Bruckner to the sublime Durufle, each song is sung with particular care. Gounod's Ave Maria for female voices is perfectly stunning and Shubert's Die Allmact for male voices is potently powerful. Vinson Cole's performance of Shubert's Ave Maria is noteworthy, but his overall performance on the CD is nothing to write home about. I would consider this CD to be a choral listeners gem. The songs and recording of the songs themselves can be considered everlasting. Enjoy."
