"After I thought they couldn't top Eunuch, N.I.L.8 proves me wrong once again. This excellent album shows why N.I.L.8 are the best band to ever come out of Central Illinois. Where their earlier works seemed more psychefunkadelic-guitar oriented, the band now makes memorable punk-pop songs such as "Zombie Slut", "Vomitina" (with a wink and a nod to Ed McMahon), "Old McDonald's Straight-Edge Dillema", "Dominatrix", "Blood on the Saddle", and the Sid & Marty Kroft influenced "Land of the Lost". Even the toss-away, jokey songs such as "Conqueror" or The Insanity of Drayton Sawyer..." will bring a goofy smile to your face. Very Highly Recommended for fans of bands such as the Offspring, the Urge, the Vandals, and the Ramones as well as other punk favorites."

"N.I.L.8 is a really cool punk band from Springfield, Illinois. Doug is a great CD with lots of really good songs on it like Old MacDonald's Straight-Edge Dilemma, the Basement Show, and Zombie Slut. N.I.L.8 is even better live though, so if you ever get a chance to go to one of their conserts don't miss it."
