CD Reviews

A great introduction
Geoff Hall | Borehamwood, UK | 11/07/2002
(5 out of 5 stars)

"...I have some of her later albums, but only the live album from which a couple of tracks are extracted.Of course, I had heard of Nanci some time ago, but only heard her on a Frances Black album, which featured a numbder of Nanci songs.Unlike other reviewers, I found this to be a helpful album to buy. It proves to me that Nanci was great from the start. Every song has that touch of class which shows she reaches a consistently high standard. I will now have to buy the three studio albums featured on this compilation.I'm fast running out of money, thanks to Nanci - so my Christmas list is chock full of wanted albums by her."
As it says an introduction
Richard Laven | Dumfries Scotland | 03/26/2002
(4 out of 5 stars)

"Sure the selection is based on tracks that have been compiled before, but it's not designed for Nanci's fans who've got most of her albums. As a Nanci fan I'd much rather see this sort of compilation than yet another greatest hits which has one or (if you're lucky)two new songs on it. Save the new songs for the new albums"
