"Nancy Wilson keeps getting better. "Keep You Satisfied" is by far my favorite album from this Song Stylist in her later career. The album features Nancy in all her glory, doing her thing in the effortless way she does. As time goes by, her voice gets more richer and defined and more passionate. This is what this CD is - Quiet Passion. Everything Ms. Wilson touches becomes a classic, such as her covers of "Just to Keep you Satisfied"(Marvin Gaye), "Heaven Bound"(Chaka Khan) and "Careless Whisper"(Wham). Other standouts include "Early Morning", "American Wedding Song" and the incredible "Just to Keep you in my Life". Practically everything is a gem, but what else could it be with Nancy Wilson up front."
A Stunning Middle of the Road Album

"Nancy's voice is exquisite on this recording. The quality of her voice is gorgeous and utterly distinctive and she doesn't oversing. There are a lot of wonderful, unique vocal riffs on this cd and they're judiciously spaced throughout the album. Popular vocalists don't get much better than this. Every track has its merits, but my favorites are Just to Keep You Satisfied, Just to Keep You in My Life and Early Morning."
A "discovery" that I am glad to have made

"Until the recent re-release of this album from '85, I thought Nancy's "rebirth" was to be found in the later release "Forbidden Lover". Both were produced by Kiyoshi Itoh and feature top-notch arrangements and the unequaled vocal artistry of Miss Wilson. The singer is at her most alluring on "Early Morning," "Winter Green and Summer Blue," and the title cut. Her remake of Wham's "Careless Whisper" puts the original to shame. The final track "If We Were Lovers" should be requested by anyone fortunate to attend one of her concerts.I know if I should I be so lucky, I definitely will do just that."
One of Nancy's most underrated "lost" CDs - sexy, smoldering

"I first got this on LP in the 80s, and later on CD and for some reason, it's OOP, why is a crime - this is Nancy doing what she does best: late-night jazzy smoldering "quiet storm" brilliant ballads, like the title cut which, pardon the late Marvin Gaye, is THE definitive version - you really have to hear it to believe it - this cut alone makes it worth the purchase price!
And then Ms. Wilson goes on to make well-known cuts by Chaka and George Michael here own, no mean feat. From the stunning cover photo to the amazing songs inside, this is one of my favorite Nancy Wilson CDs, and I think her BEST from her later 80s-to-present period."
