"The third edition of NAT KING COLE * THE TRIO RECORDINGS continues the previously set high standards of the first two DELTA offerings. Sound quality on these transcriptions is very fine-- combine that with superb musicianship, thoughtful programmimg and a collection that includes both popular and lesser-known songs, and you have one great album.

Many sides of the King Cole Trio are showcased here-- by turns they are elegant, cool, bouncy, introspective, joyous and bluesy. In all these moods the trio is always engaging. Highly recommended for Nat Cole fans.
