Absolutely brilliant

"This group is fantastic, & IMO this is their best album, which is saying something 'coz I love (esp.) "Jimson Weed"
& the first too. There's a bit of 'happy' gloss here, but don't be fooled. These songs and this imagery packs a punch, sometimes even akin to a poppier Throwing Muses. I love the way Keri Latimer and Shelley Marchall harmonize & the band is tight, wonderful in support. If they exist in some strange soundscape between New Pornographers and the McGarrigle Sisters, they make it their own and triumph I think. An album of small gestures perhaps and offbeat characters, but brilliantly expressed. Not just my favorite album so far in '07, but one of my favorites of the decade so far."
