Synopsis

Product Description
These authentic Native American healing chants, along with flute and drum, emerge from the depths of the Earth carrying the mystery and magic of tribal people. Sounding Healing pioneer Dean Evenson joins with Lummi Indian spiritual elder, Cha-das-ska-dum, to create a powerful musical expression in the spirit of healing. Scott Huckabay and Swil Kanim draw from their own Native American roots to weave their music into this tapestry, adding guitar and violin. Marguerite and April Which-ta-lum, wife and daughter of Cha-das-ska-dum, enhance his vocals with their beautiful harmonies and Native flute.

Soothing soundtrack for a peaceful journey.

(5 out of 5 stars)

"Whether you're listening inside on a rainy day or walking among the trees, this beautiful CD will open your mind to the wonder of Earth and your own connection to her. Multi-layered and nuanced with birdsongs, flute and drum and the healing chants of Cha-das-ska-dum, you'll want to listen over and over again, and will hear something new each time. This is the perfect CD for meditation, yoga, artistic inspiration or relaxation."

(4 out of 5 stars)

"This CD blends music with Native American chanting very beautifully and does not distract from the authenticity and simplicity of the chanting as many Native American imitation CDs do."
