Synopsis

Album Description
This great CD features exceptionally skillful use of obtuse riffing and rhythm to create an hallucinatory atmopshere of terror. The listener (victim?) is assaulted like a shower of maggots. The music of NECROPHAGIA is quite convincing. It shares similar feelings of impaled eyes, flesh-eating spiders, a throat-ripping dog, or a blasted head in a hospital morgue. No imnplied blood and guts. Black Blood Vomitorium is real. This is an absolute must-have for Death Metal fans.

Necrogphagia At Their Strongest

(5 out of 5 stars)

"I myself have been trying hard to classify this record. It seems that Necrophagia's'Block Blood Vomitorium' stretches beyong classification. By mixing black metal, gore metal, death metal, and grindcore together Killjoy, Phil Anselmo, Dustin Havnen, and Wayne Fabra have released the epitome of what metal should sound like. Unlike a lot of bands, Necrophagia has never tried to follow the metal trend of the moment and this album proves it. 'Black Blood Vomitorium' shows Killjoy at his strongest both lyrically and vocally - his screams seem cleaner (in a good way) than normal, and the lyrics are both gore filled and well thought out. Also, I have never heard the band play so well before, it seems that they have all struck a cord when the were recording this album. Even if the rest of the album was terrible it would still recieve five stars for "They Dwell Beneath". this is not only my favorite song on the album, it is my favorite Necrophagia track so far. But the rest of the C.D. is just as good as it. I really enjoy this C.D., my only complaint is that it should have been longer, I really would have liked to see the same consistency with their full lengths. Oh well. This album is absolutely amazing and is a must have for metal fans."

"KILLJOY SCARES ME.! He has a way of terrifying the listner .Same kinda effect you get from watching a good horror movies. His vocal style get underneath the listners skin and right into the soul.Stirring up hideous thoughts .The album cover on this release is vomitous...The music terrifying .Killjoy has talent that few death metal singers today have.I give this a 6 star rating say you better pick this up today.Don't pass it up.Necrophagia are a legendary death metal band.one the first.Have had major influence on the ones out here today and even some influential stuff on black metal as well.If you get this you will also have to own Holocausto de la morte .and the reissue cd of Season of the Dead.there you will hear how this band has had major impact on the genre today.LISTEN TO NECROPHAGIA TODAY AND MAY YOU LIVE IN TERROR.! "I never was into music before, I was always a horror movie fanatic. And now since I am new to the music world I do not know much about it. But one of my favorite bands are Necrophagia. Killjoy has some of the greatest lyrics and the coolest voice in death metal. I am a big Fulci fan and that got me really into "And You Will Live In Terror." This CD is a must for death metal fans, Fulci fans, or anyone (except Pro Life Christians mind you)"
