"Once again Mr Cline cranks out yet another incredible recording. I waited in anticipation for this record better than 6 months and was not at all dissappointed. The other 2/3 of Cline's trio consists of crack contrabassist Devin Hoff and the equally amazing Scott Amendola on drums/percussion/electronics. These two do an extraordinary job of backing Nels and make rock solid contributions to the record as well on every track. Nels, of course, is his regular old genius self on this record. Particular standouts (as if any of them don't) are "Cause for Concern," a mindblowng display of precision as well as free playing, "Slipped Away," which brings tears to my eyes every time I hear it, and "Suspended Head," which is a tribute to San Francisco's Deerhoof (very much worth checking out) as well as a great track. I also highly suggest checking them out live too,if at all possible. It's a totally different and incendiary experience..."
Another brilliant work from Nels!

"This is a successfull follow-up to the masterpiece DESTROY ALL NELS CLINE, with more listenable and driving sounds. Nels strides from jazz to noise to punk to blues. Melodies are beautiful, especially on "Lucia" and "Slipped away". With variety of styles, fine place to start with Nels."
