Guitarist, composer and producer Nelson Angelo is truly a living legend of Brazilian contemporary music. During the course of his remarkable career, Angelo has worked with Milton Nascimento, Toninho Horta, Chico Buarque, Ithamara Koorax, Nana Vasconcelos, Joyce and Luiz Eça, among many others. Many of Angelo's compositions such as "Tiro Cruzado" and "Canoa, Canoa" are considered Brazilian standards and have helped Angelo to become one of the most sought after producers in his native land. Angelo's U.S. debut on Adventure Music, "Cateretê", shows off his unique and highly innovative style as a masterful guitarist, arranger and producer, while showcasing some of Brazil's most noted musicians, such as Cláudio Guimãraes, Dom Um Romão, Ricardo Costa and Novelli.
