Made me like the music

"I'm a Liszt fanatic, but I hated the transcendental etudes until I heard this recording, even after having listened to all the recordings one is supposed to hear. Nelson Goerner's recording is truly breathtaking. I was held in its grip from start to finish.Are there mistakes (as one reviewer mentioned)? Yes, one or two extremely minor ones, but that's because this is a LIVE recording, something I didn't even notice until I started hearing coughing in the penultimate piece. The mistakes don't detract one bit from the power of the recording. In fact, given that the performances are live, they're pretty unbelievable.Highly, highly recommended."
