(3 out of 5 stars)
"I have just about everything Evans recorded. I recently saw that I didn't have this one so went ahead and purchased it. The reason I had skipped it before was because he uses a Fender Rhodes keyboard, and I don't like that sound. I probably should have saved my money. I give it three stars just because it's Evans, and he rarely did anything less than good. Get any of his other albums before this one, especially his earliest (1958-1962) and his latest (his last trio in 1980 - except for the Fat Tuesday's recordings...he was in degraded health for those tracks). Also recommended for Evans fans is "Conversations with Bill Evans" by Thibaudet. That album is excellent."
