CD ReviewsGreat one! Francisco Vega | Mexico city | 07/26/2001 (5 out of 5 stars) "If you are an Acid Jazz fan you must have this one. It is a really rare CD, and despite it only has 8 track, its musical content is magnificent. It will blow your mind, and maybe you will experience a stratosphere breakdown." New Jersey Kings = James Taylor Quartet (UK) David S Angelescu | Chicago | 10/16/2001 (5 out of 5 stars) "This is actually the James Taylor Quartet (UK). This was a side project under an unknown name. The JTQ groove is all over this CD and it's a funky jam! This is a hard to find CD, don't hesitate to buy it if it's available. Just do it, you'll be very glad you did so. Party to the bus stop is another great disc by the NJ Kings, check it out." Not what you might think C. Heaney | Glasgow | 06/10/2006 (5 out of 5 stars) "Contrary to popular belief (in America anyawy), this album is NOT A RARE 70's piece of funk!! It is an album made by a bunch of british jazz players known as the James Taylor quartet... This album isn't worth the ridiculous amounts of money that it seems to go for on this website (i've just seen a copy for £130!). Just google the name and you'll see it was all a big joke and you can get this album for a resonable price on the british amazon. I got my copy for £3 sterling in a second hand shop!
Nevertheless it is a fantastic album well worth owning, but don't get ripped off." |
