"I saw this band live in San Francisco last week. Their high energy in performance is matched on this CD. Great instrumentalists, wonderful solos, terrific vocal blend by two very strong singers. Their material is interesting and fresh. It's hard to say which of the cuts I like the best, but "Unskinny Bop" is surely near the top of my list. If swing dancing is your thing, you'll wear out your shoes on that one!"

"I found out about the New Morty Show after watching a local program called "Locals Only" that profiles bands in Northern California.. NMS was amazing, but I never got to see them live. After many searches at record stores, I finally found Rigormorty and got in the groove right after I popped it in my car's CD player. I fell in love with Cynthia Lewis' vocals and the chemistry of the band. Good swingin fun! They also do a Cole Porter song at the end, "Just one of those things"... I haven't heard a better version of that since Lena Horne. Currently, The New Morty Show seems to be doing side projects like Kiss My Brass, but I hope to see them back at the Cafe Du Nord one of these days."
