"Pete's all-stars, featuring some of the great Bob Crosby sidemen, such as Ray Bauduc and Eddie Miller, and one of the finest trombonists--studio musician Abe Lincoln are superb; his quartet "The Three Coins" swings,with a rare Fountain Tenor Sax rendition; and Al Hirt's disciplined and clean selections make this a CD MUST for any collector. I got Pete's autograph on the 8 sides he did for Southland, when the LP first came out in l956.Knowing most of the old Crosby Bobcats, I think you're find these sides a swinging session.
