"At times I feel like a world weary traveller, I scour the digital landscape in search of interpretations of the same piece by as many different artists as can be found. Paganini's 24 caprices is one such work.

Soovin has much technical proficiency and speed that leads one to believe that the devil may hold the second mortgage on his soul. The performances lack the raw bleeding passion of a Rabin recording, but allow such light to shine on each note that it is easy to marvel at the composition once again.

To any obsessive out there with a passion for comparison, this is worth a listen. First timer? Stick with the Perlman version..."
