CD ReviewsWelcome back Nicole ! M. J. Lacomme | Sevres, France | 06/05/2000 (4 out of 5 stars) "It is good to have Nicole back after 10 years (her last album was Jam packed in 1988. I enjoyed Love town. This is a mix of ballads (Missin' you,Thinkin' about you, Dreamin', Maybe next time) and up tempo songs (Try my love, Pray for love, Long train runnin'). Nicole can sing very softly on the ballads and shout soulfully on the disco oriented fast tracks. I especially like Pray for love with the Gospel overtones. She is a great singer. Too bad the musical backing (real drums would have been fine ! ) does not always match her singing."
