"Somebody Loves You is the first single Nik Kershaw has released in 10 years, and came as quite a suprise. His music has changed quite drastically since 1989 when his ill-fated "The Works" album was released and his synthesisers have been thrown out the window in favour of a more acoustic sound. Somebody Loves You is the first single from his current album, 15 minutes, and gives a good sample as to the quality of this new album. It is centred on the topic of the importance of your fans as a musician and is easily worthy of Pause and Play's Most underrated single of 1999 title. This single also features an acoustic version of Wouldn't it Be Good, one of Nik Kershaw's most popular songs of the 80s, and it's interesting to see that his voice has hardly changed in the 15 odd years since the original came out. There is also an acoustic version of The Riddle. This single shows that Nik Kershaw is still fresh after 10 years of absence from writing his own music and if he can continue with tracks like this, he might prove that his 15 minutes of fame aren't over yet."
