"This is essentially the 1986 release (originally simply called "Code of the Road") of music recorded in London in '85 or '86. I remember it well as I went to one of the concerts with my good friend Mark Scase. Quite why it was released again ten years after the fact with a "Greatest Hits" tagline can only be explained by a record company exec."Code of the Road" a good live album by a great musician, but if you're looking for the truly great Nils Lofgren live album you have to find "Night After Night" (1977). "Night After Night" contains many of the same songs but in consistently extraordinary versions. Almost 25 years later, "Night After Night" still gives me the shivers and will continue to do so when -- in 40 years time -- I am in a long-term care facility. I know of no better live rock album, and "Code of the Road" is, alas, pale by comparison."

"This album contents many good songs."Delivery Night" and "Shine Silently"are beautiful tune.I love these songs and his guitar more than Clapton's famous"Wonderful Tonight".Especially,"Shine Silentry"is unforgettable! And Good Rock'n roll "Dreanms Die Hard"is masterpiece! "Keith Don't Go" is interesting.Becouse,Lofgren was rumored to be under consideration as a replacement for Mick Taylor in the Rolling Stones. It's a GOOD ALBUM,GOOD GUITAR."
