"An absolute classic, which seems unknown by so many. Nina presents a version of "Here Comes The Sun" in a way that makes it almost her own. A fine rendition of "Mr Bojangles" and "My Way" see this album make excellent music for an afternoon at home relaxing. I got to hear this album, by chance and it easily falls into my top ten albums of all time. i just wish I'd heard it years before. Buy this. The fact that it's nearly out of stock should tell you how good it is."

"Let's see: either I'm writing a review for an Import edition of this album, or at least nobody pays attention -very sadly- to this wonderful and deep singer. If you ask me, I think that Nina Simone stands as the forgotten "Momma" for singers like Alicia Keys or Whitney Houston (which, in my humble opinion, is a mediocre singer). In this CD Nina Simone takes songs like The Beatles' "Here comes the Sun" and takes them to new, unthinkable heights thanks to her bluesy, quite cinic but sweet voice. Yeah, there's a definition for her voice: pure brownsound. Believe me: this senora is worth listening. Once you get caught by her voice, there will be no more Britney Spears, Cristina Aguilera -not even that mousy Avril Lavergne- whatever, whatever, etc. in your CD player. So, give yourself a chance. Save your ears from eternal saccharine. Check this out. enjoy."
