His playing on the guitar "tres" is superb, and altho he has been less well known than the truly famous and influential Arsenio Rodriguez, his hot style tres playing is just as hot. Recorded in Havana on the famous Egrem label, many other old but great musicians are along for the ride, like pianist Ruben Gonzales. Very good!"
