CD ReviewsThere's Hope For Musicians in Rock! trent sparks | New Jersey | 03/06/2000 (5 out of 5 stars) "I heard the song "I Won't Cry" on WRAT in Jersey and really liked it, then by coincidence I was just browsing through The Record Store in Howell and the song "Don't Let Go" was playing and I asked the store person who it was and when he said it was Nite Lite I couldn't believe it because the song was so different from the one I heard on the radio! So when I bought the cd and played it at home in it's entirety, I was amazed at the variety of styles they played from song to song. It was very reminiscent of the type of albums Zeppelin used to make. The musicianship is definitely way up there. That song "The Garden" has the most amazing dynamics with really heart wrenching lyrics if you're really analyzing what he's talking about. (Very Christian) I also enjoyed the ballad "Soul Light" which sounds very McCartney influenced with beautiful guitar playing. The strangest song I thought was "Eyes Closed" which sounded like a take off on "Dante's Inferno" with these very middle eastern sounding melodies happening, but none the less very cool! Rock needs bands like this to survive! I recommend this Cd to all true rock fans!" Great Original Sound! trent sparks | 01/31/2000 (5 out of 5 stars) "It's No accident that Rick Wakeman of 'Yes'said this band Nite Lite was stunning in musicality. The music is Great! The lyrics are intelligent and the music can be appreciated by anyone!"
