Almost, but not really, the best of

"When "Nest" was released it was the first chance to get a brief career overview of this intelligent dutch band. Almost all of their releases up 'til then are represented, with two new tracks added to lure those who already had it all. Problem was of course that if you already had it all you also missed some personal favourites. I think "Nest" does an ok job of presenting the band to new listeners. The major flaw is the non-chronological sequencing - after all Nits (to this day) progress with each new release, and that progression is part of their charm - and sadly missed here. The minor flaw is that the two new tracks are also the weakest. And, of course, many of their best songs are not in here because they were not singles. If you are new to Nits I suggest you start with "Giant Normal Dwarf", "Da Da Da" or "Ting" instead, and work your way forward from there."
