"No Knife's first album, which, contrary to the information listed on this website, was actually released in 1995, is an excellent collection of songs with guitar hooks that your ears will fall in love with. This album features the original lineup of Mitch, Ike, Aaron, and Brian, and somehow they gelled differently than the later lineups. From the catchy bass line intro of "Ginger Vitus" to the GBH-like guitar lines of "Habits," and the very emo-ish melodies of "Small of my Back," this album will not dissapoint fans of emo, punk, rock, whatever. Fans especially of Texas is The Reason, At-The-Drive-In, Tanner, Drive Like Jehu, or Boilermaker take notice. PS. This album was originally released on Goldenrod Records, which I do, so I _am_ biased..."
