"The very first notes of Chopin's immensely moving Nocturne in c sharp minor will transport the listener to a dreamworld, which he won't leave until the last chord of Pancho Vladigerov's Nokturno has died away. This is a wonderful collection of "Music of the Night"! The pieces, though stemming from such different time periods, are very carefully chosen to each represent this genre in all its intimacy and beauty, and the two premiere recordings show that not only Romantic composers knew how to create that special mood.
Thanks, Dimiter Terziev, for presenting us with such a gem, never letting go of the magic created with the opening piece! A very sensitive and convincing recording!"

"This collection of Nocturnes is immensely enjoyable to listen to. The Nocturnes are by composers from different periods, but they complement each other and form a cohesive collection of pieces. The common thread that flows throughout the pieces is a dream-like state, and Dimiter Terziev's performance is superb!"
