Noel Harrison was an English singer, actor and Olympic skier. He was the son of the actor Rex Harrison. After leaving the army in the 1950's he toyed with the idea of being a journalist, but concentrated on his guitar instead. When he was 20, he started playing professionally. He also made a living playing in bars and nightclubs all over Europe. After playing small roles in British films, he moved to the United States in 1965. He worked in nightclubs around the US. His career spanned to 2013. Unfortunately he suffered a heart attack on the evening of October 18, 2013 several hours after performing. Noel issued three albums on the Reprise label in the mid 1960s. This 26 track CD contains the best from those albums and was previously only available as a Handmade Rhino limited edition. It contains his coveted version of Leonard Cohen's Suzanne.
