"THIS GIVES you a magical feeling. As beautiful as Monica is, you still focus on her voice and the deep quality of the music when you hear her. Her beauty - long hair, tempting eyes - may pull you towards her. But the music is an equal pull - brisk samba mixed with classic jazz. She's from Brazil and I first met Monica in Barbados in early 2000. She spoke of her love for the music and the people who she sings too. She expressed the hope that the people who listen to her music can feel what is trying to send. I felt it! And it was great! There is a warm, relaxing joy about the way she sings and we await her next effort."
