"This is among Norman's very best works and features vocalists Phyllis Hyman, Spencer Harrison, Angela Bofill and Denise Stewart. Most of the songs are well-suited for Connors' "Starship Orchestra" but Phyllis Hyman's vocals on the title track and Angela's glorious rendition of Stevie Wonder's "You And I" are the best reasons to buy this CD."

"I purchased this originally in cassette over a decade ago. I was listening to some music recently for a dance I'm choreographing and Remember Who You Are was my original choice. The only problem was that I couldn't stop listening to the rest of the music. It was as if I heard every song for the first time! What a gem! Only When She Cries (the instrumental) was so arresting. So were You and I, Naima...the whole collection is gorgeous. This is out of print and not available in stores so I came here to purchase the cd. Thank goodness many of Connors' works like Starship and ANYTHING he did with Phyllis Hyman are still available. Just like me, whether sooner or later, your heart will be touched by a works of art like this one."
