Varied, inventive, listenable world music

"I didn't expect much for five bucks, but upon first listening I believe this will be one of my favorite world music albums. The music and recording quality seem fine to me. Most of the music is traditional folk or folk/pop; the group Eastern Voices, with two selections on the album, has a New Age World flavor somewhat reminiscent of Vox or Sheila Chandra. I might have given it better than four stars for value, except that there are zero liner notes, just song listings, no attempt to indicate where this music comes from (culturally, musically or geographically) or how to find any more music by the various groups represented on the album. This seems a disservice to the music."
