"numskull who? you know this boy from the luniz and if y'all forgot bout him then shame on you guys because his boy yukmouth did a whole bunch of albums without him so i guess folks can say they didn't remember this guy right here. well its been a long time and finally num gets his turn and i would say he done good for his solo joint. throughout the album it really explains numworld, songs such as c-saw does a great job telling his struggles in life and backsmokin weed is a great and funny tale of num getting back to smoking weed even though he dont his peers force nummy back and he makes a song out of it and it does good, overall the production is good but can't wait till num and yuk get back for the luniz' new joint.. 2 be continued...."

"Numskull (A.K.A. Garrick Husbands), provides his debut album with "Numworld" (2007). It's been twelve years since the Luniz got their break in the rap game delivering their debut album "Operation Stackola" which featured the classic track "I Got 5 On It". Numbskull's partner in rhyme Yukmouth has had a long and prolific music career while Numbskull has been off the radar. This eighteen track release features guest appearances from Kashflow, Sean P, Young Fell, Taliban Bundy, Papa Reu, J-Bo, Dyson, Prince Bugsy, FM Blue, Mr. Goodbar, Devin the Dude, The Jacka and Unique. Numskull talks about going from selling 3.5. Million records to musical obscurity on the intro, then follows it up "40's In A Brown Bag" sending a minor shot at Yukmouth who he is not getting a long with. My favourite track on this release is "Rockstar" a collobration between Numskull, Kashflow and Sean P of the Youngbloodz. The track is laced with some tight production and all three MC's hold their own, a simple but catchy chorus works well. This track arrives around the same time as the Shop Boyz "Party Like A Rockstar", I personally enjoy this track more then the other one. Oakland's Numskull reps living the G Lifestyle on "Gangsta" feat. Young Fell, Taliban Bundy, Papa Reu, this laidback track works well. "UC It" is another standout track, as is "Talkin To You" feat. FM Blue which has Numskull paying tribute and showing his love for his deceased grandmother. "Missin You" feat. Papa Reu & Dyson is another deep track dedicated to friends who died to young and others who are incarcerated. "Replay" is an upbeat collaboration cut which has Numskull an Devin the Dude talking about the ladies. Rumours of a beef between the Luniz partner's exist, the two appear alongside each other on "Only For One Night" which also features appearances from Dyson and J-Bo of the Youngbloodz. Numskull and the Jacka provide a diss track with "Like Ohhh!", which is followed up by the album's closer "I Stay" feat. Unique. Numskull provides a decent release with "Numworld", a release Luniz fans should check out."
It's a Numy Num world!

"Numskull provides a breath of fresh air with his first solo release. He shoulda dropped a solo 10 years ago but better late then never and this is worth your money. . ."
