Excellent Blues from Brazil.... From Brazil ???

"Mindelis is a very gifted guitar player. He plays a soulful blues-rock with a sense of humor. In Blues from the Outside he has Double Trouble backing him up. The record was released through an independent record label, what gave him independence to select tracks, making up for a coese, consistent record. The influence of SRV in Mindelis' guitar playing is un-mistakable and DT stresses just that. But, instead of being another SRV wannabe, he is refined his style, adding attitude and passion. He is mean, he plays guitar with technique and feeling and he sings with his soul. If you think Garota de Ipanema is all that Brazilians can do about music, try this record."
