CD ReviewsBeautiful, creates a nice atmosphere..... ljazztrumpetnyc | Bayside, NY United States | 08/07/2006 (5 out of 5 stars) "Excellent effort by Matt and Jason....Has a wonderful feel to it....I would prefer though to hear what they both would play in such a small group without ANY constraints imposed. Meaning, although this is free improv, I think they went into it with the concept of just sticking to long, sustained tones. I'd like to hear what they could do keeping the same mellow/ambient texture but without any, even subtly imposed, restraints. Hopefully that will be the next album. BTW, they worked in some overdubs (of themselves) starting about halfway through this 31min. track and that really works out well...So, in effect, the 2nd half of this recording is a quartet."
