"I can tell you that the first track will almost bring tears to your eyes. When I put this CD on, I turn the lights low and sit back and just let the sound fill the room. It flows around you and through you like only great jazz can. David Murray's sax work is simply fantastic. Combine that with the formidable tallents of Mr. Larry Willis on piano, Mr. Bobby Battle on drums (and saying "on drums" is over-simplifying. More accurately Mr. Battle's drums provide a fantastic mood setting. He makes you want to go back and listen to just how he created that feeling with drums...) and Mr. Santi Debriano laying down the bottom and you've got a CD that will spin a thousand times and never get old. Every time I spin it, I hear something new; something that makes me smile. Quite simply, this quartet combines original compositions with those of Fats Waller and Thelonious Monk to create not just a great CD, but a mood. This is one of the finest jazz CDs I own. Thank you, guys, for Offering your many years of talent to this CD."
