Dixie Diamond | Texas | 12/07/2009 (2 out of 5 stars) "I'll admit that OCMS was never my favorite band in the first place, because once you listen to real old-time stuff, they sound so fake, but this album is just boring. A lot of manufactured self-pity without much genuine feeling. Steve Earle's "Oxycontin Blues" is better (and I don't particularly like _Washington Square Serenade_, either, but that song is still better, and you know that Earle knows exactly what he's talking about).
