""One Night the Moon" is a moody drama about a little girl being lured by the moon into the deserted plains of australia, and the repercussions the parents face when they let their pride keep them from asking for help from an aboriginial tracker. This is by no means a happy film, but the musical genre-base and great cinematography makes it stand out as one of the best foreign films I've ever seen. The soundtrack is definetely different, but if you enjoy artists such as Paul Westerberg, Bjork, and Bob Dylan, this will probably never leave your cd player."

"I've seen the movie and listened to the music and thoroughly enjoy both. My favorite tracks are This land is Mine and the ending track. When the last song plays and pans over the Flinders Range area in the movie and Albert singing how he belongs to the land, I really feel the music and it brings me back to an amazing land.
I've spent an extensive amount of time in Australia and to me, these songs really capture the feel I got when I was there. Maybe I feel this way because I have travelled in Oz, but whatever it is, the music moves me."
