"Wow! We just picked this album up as a hoot--the cover caught our attention, and the song list intrigued. If you're up for some experimental stuff, you have found it. It really defies description, and I have listened to a lot of very esoteric music. If pushed, I'd say you have something akin to a cross between the Space Negros and Shockabilly and Beatle's sitar. The instruments are haunting, the arrangements fab, and the overall musicality top notch. If you like your music on the edge (of just about everything), this is a good catch."

"I love this album in and of itself. Great chill-out background music, and if you like Bhagra, all the better. about halfway thru many songs, you get a vague realization that you just might "know this song" - ie, the original song being covered. but often you can't really be sure. and then you get lost again in the excellent vibe and then who really cares. I admit that I am a fan of a few of the covered artists (Jane's Addiction, Nirvana, others), but they still are at least one dimension below the surface here. in fact, one of the best songs is "Cars," and I can barely remember the original. Don't buy this as a "cover song novelty" - rather, buy it if you like good chill-out grooving lounge music, and you'll be very happy."
